A few winter mornings...

I used some overlays from the Digital Scrapbook Place to enhance the photos. In away it is sort of funny because it is very popular to take, or "enhance" photos to look old or even better, to look like badly taken pictures. Oh, all those years of trying to help people take better snapshots!
Anyway, it's a lot of fun.

More morning light...

Walking to work in the morning...this is a small church that was converted into a home. I really would like see the inside and how they used the large open space. It looks like it is bright and sunny inside. There are quite a few churches that have been converted into homes and I always imagine the prayers that were said all the years it was a church hanging around in the rafters.

I like the way the shadow of the tree cuts across the face of the building.

Morning light...

The morning light seems softer than the light of evening. It's that first light touching the world and you're awake and it all feels like morning. (As it is.) I wonder if there is a physical, as in scientific, difference, or is it just that I know it's morning and as opposed to evening.

Or, maybe it's the fact that here the sun is coming up over the lake. Although I could look this up, I sort of like just wondering about it; it leaves some mystery to my day.
